The front oil seal is a genuine Yuchai engine part, part number YC209-C070090PR. It seals the crankshaft where it exits the front of the engine behind the crank pulley. Oil leaking from the front of the engine or onto the belts is a common sign of a worn seal. A new seal should be fitted whenever the pulley or front cover is removed.
