These main bearings are genuine Yuchai engine parts, part number L3000-1005014. They support the crankshaft in the block and run on a pressurised film of oil. Low oil pressure, deep knocking or scoring found during inspection call for new bearings. They are normally replaced as a full set during a bottom-end overhaul. Parts can differ between bus models and years — share your chassis number and engine number and we will confirm the exact match before supplying.
