Supplier and marketplace terms

Rules for supplier listings and quotations: genuine parts only, zero tolerance for scams and fraud, and how to report abuse.

Last updated Toyosuper (PVT) LTD, Sri Lanka

In short

  • Suppliers publish their own listings and send quotations to customers’ part requests through the Toyosuper platform.
  • Listings must be accurate and genuine. No counterfeit parts.
  • Absolutely no scams or fraud: no fake listings, advance-payment scams, impersonation, misuse of customer data or off-platform fraud using contacts made here.
  • Toyosuper is not a party to sales between a supplier and a customer, unless it says so in writing.
  • Toyosuper may remove listings, suspend or ban suppliers, keep records and cooperate with the authorities. Report abuse.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to every business with a Toyosuper supplier account. Supplier accounts are created by Toyosuper, and suppliers sign in with their registered mobile number and a one-time code. By signing in, publishing a listing or sending a quotation, you accept these terms. Customers who buy from or contact suppliers should also read the notes for customers below.

2. What the platform does

  • Listings: suppliers host marketplace or classified-style listings of their own stock, matched to vehicles.
  • Part requests and quotations: customers send part requests (RFQs); suppliers may answer with quotations through the platform.
  • Paid display: suppliers may pay for display or boost campaigns. The fee, what it buys and its duration are shown before you pay.

3. Toyosuper’s role

Toyosuper provides the platform. Unless Toyosuper says otherwise in writing (for example, by buying the goods and reselling them on its own invoice), Toyosuper is not a party to a sale between a supplier and a customer. The supplier is the seller and is responsible for the goods, the price, delivery, any warranty it gives and compliance with the law. Toyosuper does not guarantee a supplier’s goods, stock or conduct, but it acts on reports of abuse as described below.

4. Listing standards

Every listing and quotation must be accurate and genuine. You must:

  • list only parts you actually have, or can actually supply, at the price shown;
  • state the condition honestly (new, used or reconditioned) and the true brand and origin;
  • give correct part numbers and vehicle fitment, and correct mistakes promptly;
  • use your own photographs or photographs you have the right to use;
  • remove or update listings when stock is sold or prices change.

You must not list counterfeit or imitation parts presented as genuine, stolen goods, unsafe or recalled parts, or anything that is illegal to sell in Sri Lanka.

5. Zero tolerance for scams and fraud

Scams and fraud through the Toyosuper digital platform are absolutely prohibited. This includes:

  • fake listings or quotations for goods you do not have or do not intend to supply;
  • advance-payment scams: taking a deposit or full payment and not supplying the goods, or supplying something different;
  • impersonation of Toyosuper, its staff, another supplier, a brand or a customer;
  • collecting customer data for misuse, including building marketing lists, selling or sharing contact details, or harassment;
  • off-platform fraud using contacts, phone numbers or information obtained through Toyosuper;
  • bait-and-switch pricing, fake reviews, or manipulating views, rankings or paid display.

Toyosuper treats any of these as a serious breach. It may lead to an immediate permanent ban and a report to the police or other authorities.

6. Customer information

Customer names, phone numbers and vehicle details you receive through the platform may be used only to answer that customer’s request and complete that sale. Keep them secure, do not pass them to anyone else, and delete them when no longer needed. You are responsible for handling personal information lawfully.

7. Fees and payments to Toyosuper

Fees for paid display or boost campaigns are shown before you confirm and are paid as instructed in the supplier portal, with proof of payment where requested. If Toyosuper removes a campaign or listing because of a breach of these terms, the fee is not refunded.

8. What Toyosuper may do

To protect customers and the platform, Toyosuper may, at any time and without prior notice where the risk justifies it:

  • review, edit the presentation of, hide or remove any listing or quotation;
  • suspend or permanently ban a supplier account, and stop paid campaigns;
  • keep records of listings, quotations, messages, payments and sign-in activity; and
  • share relevant records with the police, other authorities and affected customers where the law allows, and cooperate with any investigation.

9. How to report abuse

If you see a fake listing, a scam, a counterfeit part or misuse of personal information, report it to Toyosuper straight away:

Include the listing link or name, the supplier name, what happened, and any screenshots, receipts or messages. We review every report. If you have lost money, also report it to the police.

10. Notes for customers

  • Check the part number, condition and fitment with the supplier before you pay.
  • Be careful about paying in advance to a supplier you do not know. Where you can, inspect the goods before paying.
  • Toyosuper staff will never ask you to pay a supplier’s personal account or to share a verification code.

11. Responsibility, changes and law

Suppliers are responsible for claims that arise from their listings, quotations and sales. Toyosuper is not liable for transactions between suppliers and customers in which it is not the seller. We may update these terms; the version published here applies from its “Last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

This policy is published in English. If a Sinhala or Tamil version is provided and the versions differ, the English version applies.
